Tom Daschle.....the Golden Years
Since his (less than voluntary) retirement from the U.S. Senate a little over a year ago, ....
....Tom has discovered that the little things in life are the only things that really matter.
"Stop and smell the roses" has replaced "Impeach Bush the Impaler" as his inspirational guidance.
Free from the stress of public life, Tom has bravely defeated anorexia, bulemia, and premature graying.
"Fit as a fiddle" Tom fills his days with sporting activities,....
....needlepoint, spelunking abandoned South Dakota gold mines with his Acme 3000 metal detector and contributing thoughtful,radical left wing fair and balanced opinions to the Democratic Underground website.
When asked if he had any future political aspirations, Tom replied
"there is an office here locally that I'm pretty sure I could win, but frankly I'm scared to death of dogs"
gone but not forgotten.....

Pretty sorry blog if ya hafta dredge up a democrat who was voted out of office. Howzabout that other Tom ---- you know the one. Delay? The exterminator-turned-laundry man? More honorable to lose an election than get evicted with a subpoena, doncha think? Oh, I see the difference. Delay is a Republican. He's one of the good guys. We won't talk about money laundering.
